Nossic OS Thin Client. Sign in, and your desktop is there.

Turn small, low-cost computers into secure workstations. People sign in with their work account and get their own virtual desktop, running on your servers and managed from Nossic OS Server. Nothing is stored on the device itself.

Coming soon See what it does

Coming soon Free. Thin clients never count towards your Nossic OS Server PCs.

What it does

Everything people need to get to work, and nothing they don't.

Straight to work

It starts in seconds to a simple sign-in screen. With one desktop it opens straight away; with several, people pick one.

Nothing kept on the device

No files, passwords or apps on the thin client. A lost or broken one is just swapped for another.

Carry on from any desk

Desktops keep running when someone walks away, so they can pick up where they left off on any other thin client.

Personal or shared desktops

Give people their own desktop that's kept, or a fresh one from a shared pool that's reset when they sign out.

Managed from one panel

Add thin clients, pools and desktops in the Nossic OS Server Console, see who's signed in where, and remove a device in a click.

Secure by design

Every connection is encrypted with your own certificates, each one uses a one-time ticket, and the device has no local sign-in at all.

Cheap hardware, long life

Runs on small PCs and old computers you already have, and on Raspberry Pi boards later. Desktops get faster when you upgrade the server, not every desk.

Domain desktops

Every virtual desktop joins your domain by itself, so Blueprints, shared folders and software work exactly as on a normal PC.

How it works

  1. 1

    Add a server for desktops

Connect your virtualisation server (Proxmox VE at first) to Nossic OS Server and make a template desktop.

  2. 2

    Make pools

Choose who gets which desktops: a person, or a whole team.

  3. 3

    Start the thin clients

Start them from a USB stick or straight from the network, and enrol them with a code from the Console.

  4. 4

People sign in with their work account and their desktop opens, full screen.

What can people run on their desktop?

Linux desktops at first, with Windows desktops to follow.
