Coming soon

Nossic OS Server. Your whole network, on your own premises.

Sign-ins, users, shared folders and settings for every Linux and Windows PC in your business, managed from one web panel. It runs on your own network: your directory is never on the internet.

Coming soon Free for up to 20 PCs. Every feature is in every tier.

What it does

Everything a business needs to run its PCs, without a cloud subscription for each person.

One sign-in everywhere

People sign in to any PC in the business with the same name and password, even when the network is down.

Linux and Windows PCs

Ubuntu, Fedora, Debian, Arch, Mint, openSUSE and more, plus Windows 11. KDE, GNOME, Cinnamon, XFCE and other desktops.

Blueprints

Hundreds of settings for every PC, set once: passwords, screen lock, wallpaper, Wi-Fi, firewall, USB, printers, browsers and more.

Shared folders

Home folders and team folders that appear on every PC automatically, with no passwords to type.

Software without admin rights

Install, update and remove apps on any PC from the panel. People install approved apps themselves.

Remote help and recovery keys

Help someone on their screen, run actions on a PC, and keep disk-encryption recovery keys safe.

Windows Group Policy, no Windows Server

The same Blueprints reach Windows PCs as standard Group Policy, with BitLocker keys and a managed local admin password.

Updates on your schedule

Update rings, maintenance windows, approvals and restart rules, with a local mirror so updates download once for the whole office.

See every PC

Inventory, health, alerts by email and compliance rules (encrypted, updated, firewall on), so problems show up before people notice them.

Network services

A VPN for working from home, company Wi-Fi and wired sign-in with certificates, and DHCP, all set up from the panel.

Virtual desktops

Personal or shared desktops on your own servers, opened from a Nossic OS Thin Client, and they're domain PCs like any other.

A standard directory, done properly

Built on Active Directory-compatible Samba. Nossic's own additions use identifiers registered to Nossic with IANA, so they never clash with Microsoft's, your other software's or your own.

Backups and previous versions

Nightly backups of the domain, and earlier versions of shared files people can restore themselves.

Pricing

Every feature is in every tier. One price covers a whole domain: users and servers are free, and only the PCs you manage count.

Questions

Do I need a Nossic ID?

Yes, to register each server: sign in at licensing.nossic.uk with a free Nossic ID and enter the code your server shows. Your users don't need one.

Does my server need the internet?

Only to register and to check in at least once a week, which keeps its licence up to date. Sign-ins, shared folders and settings keep working without the internet, and a missed check-in never locks anyone out.

What counts as a PC?

Each computer joined to your domain, Linux or Windows. Users, servers and domain controllers aren't counted. Business includes 100 PCs and Enterprise 200; each one above that is £3 a year (30p a month).

What happens if I go over my PC count?

Nothing breaks. You see a warning, and after 30 days you can still use everything but can't change settings until you add PCs to your plan or remove some.

How do I upgrade or cancel?

At licensing.nossic.uk: choose the tier, billing period and number of PCs, then pay by card or Direct Debit. Cancel any time from Manage billing; you go back to Free.

Why choose Enterprise over Business?

Enterprise adds unlimited domain controllers (so every site can have its own, including read-only ones for branch offices) and priority support with a guaranteed response time. Both have every feature.
